Before arriving at Azusa Pacific, Ruth Givens, Ed.D., chaired the Master of Arts in Teaching programs at Wheaton College and Seattle Pacific University. At APU she teaches curriculum, philosophy, ethics, research, teaching strategies, foundations, and reading and writing. She is also the adviser for the single subject teaching credential at the Ventura County Regional Center.
