Ruth Givens, Ed. D. is a professor at Azusa Pacific University where she teaches in the Teacher Education Program for the School of Education. A graduate of The University of Tulsa and Oklahoma State University, she chaired the Masters of Arts in teaching programs at Wheaton College and Seattle Pacific University. She currently teaches curriculum, philosophy, ethics, and research courses for the graduate program as well as teaching strategies, foundations, and reading and writing for TEP. Additionally, she is single subject adviser at the Ventura Regional Center.
