Ron Foland, Ph.D.
Associate Professor of Educational Leadership
School of Education
Profile
Ron Foland, Ph.D., began working for Azusa Pacific University 10 years ago as an adjunct professor while he was a principal in the public school system. He worked for five years as an adjunct professor, retired from public education in 1993, and at that time became a full-time associate professor for APU. This is his fifth year working full-time, and he is presently completing his research in the area of strength theory. The primary objective of his study was to explore the possibility that if a group of school principals understood their strengths, and they were encouraged to use and build on those strengths, they could be more successful as school administrators.
