Susan Elizabeth Lees, Psy.D., has a career-long passion for developing class and school-wide programs that facilitate access to peer relationships for children with emotional/behavioral/social difficulties. Lees has developed and piloted a school-wide program tied to the regular California curriculum, featuring a social skill development curriculum for all students. This program is integrated into the literacy, social science, and fine arts goals and objectives, and utilizes the arts of storytelling, music, dance, and drama. Susan has spent her career living and working with rural migrant farmworker populations, and continues to conduct research in this area. She also provides consultations with rural school districts related to school psychology and special education issues.
