This online special education credential program contains a Track A specifically designed for the candidate who is not teaching full time in a K–12 school and/or who lacks subject-matter competence. This track is appropriate for adults making career changes as well as those who are teaching without fulfilling subject-matter competence.
APU also offers an Online Special Education, M.A.Ed. and Moderate/Severe Disabilities Specialist Credential, Preliminary Track B for candidates with current full-time teaching contracts. Candidates must see an advisor for proper placement in tracks within this credential program.
