This online special education credential program contains a Track B specifically designed for the candidate who is teaching full time in an appropriate setting in a public K–12 or private WASC- approved K–12 school. This assignment must be verified and approved by the program director prior to course registration.
This combined program offers candidates the flexibility to choose to complete their master's degree and credential on campus or online.
APU also offers an Online Special Education, M.A.Ed. and Moderate/Severe Disabilities Specialist Credential, Preliminary Track A for candidates without current full-time teaching contracts. Candidates must see an advisor for proper placement in tracks within this credential program.
