Overview
The Master of Arts in Education: Digital Teaching and Learning focuses on foundational tools teachers need to design and implement instructional experiences that integrate technology throughout the curriculum. Attention is given to learning theory for today’s digital learner, instructional video, and Web 2.0 tools for enhanced interactive learning.
Each course provides hands-on instruction, giving candidates the time and training needed to develop subject-specific skills and activities. Students will demonstrate their understanding of technology-imbedded instruction in the Capstone project.
This combined program pairs the Single Subject Teaching Credential, for candidates who are or are not teaching full time, with an innovative new master’s degree, resulting in a graduate program designed to meet the needs of the 21st-century classroom while advancing educators’ careers.
