The Single Subject Teaching Credential, Non-Intern Program prepares teachers for positions at the middle and high school levels (7–12), and K–12 specialists in art, music, and physical education.

The Non-Intern option is specifically designed for the candidate who is not teaching full time and who lacks subject-matter competence. This track is also appropriate for adults making career changes, as well as for those who are teaching without fulfilling subject-matter competence.
