Current Progress

Since its launch in October 2007, the Eiro Project has achieved several significant milestones, drawing closer to serving more of APU's people-centered needs. Preparation for the web-based administrative system is now in full swing, with project team members celebrating the launch of the finance module and hard work on the student administration, customer relationship management, human resources, and portal portions of the software. Already, many exciting things have been accomplished.

  • Finance module team members achieved a major milestone with the July 1 launch of the new PeopleSoft software.
  • The student module project team continues configuring the software in preparation for their March 2009 launch.
  • Continued collaboration leads departments to discovery of best practices and connecting points through the new administrative system.

What's Next?

The finance project team now focuses on training Business Office staff members and APU community members in the new system to ease the transition to PeopleSoft.

As the project team works to maximize the potential of the new software, configuration moves ahead in the student, human resources, and CRM modules, as well as in the portal. The project team looks foward to December 1, when they will be able to enter fall 2009 student information into the new system.
