Biography

Marcia Davis is a Registered Nurse with specialization as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in the area of Primary Care. She has provided health care for chilren in inpatient and outpatient hospital settings, private clinics and school settings. As an Assistant Professor for the Azusa Pacific University School of Nursing, Marcia teaches prelicensure courses in the Entry-Level Masters Degree Program. She teaches classes in Pathophysiology and Pediatric Nursing. She also provides clinical instruction in pediatric nursing.
Marcia considers it a privilege to influence the next generation of nurses, and brings to life nursing didactics and theory with her wealth of experience to the classroom setting. In the midst of technological advances and knowledge explosion in the area of health care, Marcia has a passion to preserve the "nursing touch" and genuine caring in current nursing practice. With all that is known about the human body and how it works, she emphasizes a key role of the nurse in the area of healthcare education for patients and families.
