Missionary Invitation

We cordially invite you to participate in Azusa Pacific University’s annual Global Vision Week from November 5 to November 9, 2012. Global Vision Week seeks to expose the APU community to God's global perspective in hopes of fulfilling the Great Commission. We are planning several activities to increase student participation, awareness, and involvement in what is going on in world evangelism and world issues. Thus, it is our prayer that during Global Vision Week you would have ample opportunities to interact with our students.

If you would like to join us for this year’s Global Vision Week, please fill out our Registration Form. The non-refundable registration fee of $125 covers a booth on our walkway, and meals and daily snacks for one representative. The cost for each additional representative is $75. The reservation and payment deadline is Friday, October 12 and booths are filled on a first-come-first-serve basis. Checks should be made payable to Azusa Pacific University.

There will be an Orientation Breakfast on Wednesday, November 7 at 8 a.m. After the breakfast, you will be guided to your booth on the Cougar Walk where you can set up displays to facilitate recruiting and conversations with our students. Booths are set up from Wednesday to Friday. We suggest that these displays are set up from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on all three days.

One of the highlights of the week’s activities is Missionaries Across Campus (MAC). MAC provides an opportunity for you to share with our students how your own practical skills and knowledge obtained in the classroom are applicable to the mission field. The classroom environment generates wonderful learning moments for both you and our students. If you would like to participate in MAC, please fill out the Missionaries Across Campus Registration Form, giving us your personal information, experience, and your availability during the week. This form allows us to match you with our faculty based on your training, experience, and the focus of your proposed presentation.

In the meantime, be on the lookout for our monthly email newsletters highlighting the different activities and speakers we will be hosting on campus during that week. We are looking forward to what God has in store for this year’s Global Vision Week, and we hope you will join us to impact the Kingdom for His purposes.
