Federal Direct Stafford Loan
APU’s transition to Direct Loans for 2009-10 requires all students to complete these two online forms. Follow the steps below today in order for your loans to be processed in a timely manner.
Application:
Once the student has completed the FAFSA and is fully admitted, the Office of Graduate Student Financial Services will send the student an Offer of Assistance.
Two Steps to Completing the MPN and Loan Entrance Counseling
Step One: Direct Loan Entrance Counseling
- Complete the Loan Entrance Counseling
Step Two: Direct Master Promissory Note (MPN)
- Complete the Stafford Master Promissory Note at www.dlenote.ed.gov.
- Click “Complete New MPN for Student Loans” and complete the MPN.
Eligible students will be packaged for both the Stafford and PLUS Loans. Complete the Loan Entrance and MPN for only the loans you want APU to process.
