Below you can find information on parking, transportation options, and local airports near the Azusa area. If you are attending the event from outside the Azusa area, please allow for ample travel time.

Parking

APU expects above average vehicle and pedestrian traffic on campus during graduation. To ensure the safety and convenience of our community and guests, please review the Spring Commencement Parking Map for directions on where to park and which parking areas are limited or closed.

Guests will receive parking permits with their assigned parking location when they register online for tickets. Permits must be displayed in the vehicle when guests arrive or they will not be permitted to enter the lot and will be sent to a satellite overflow parking lot.

Those general parking locations are:

  • Lot 1, Disabled Person's Parking only, at APU's East Campus, 901 E. Alosta Ave., Azusa

Disabled Person's Parking

Disabled person's parking is available in Lot 1 (Lot A) on APU’s East Campus, in Parking Lot A. Guests will be required to have their handicap placard displayed in order to gain entry to this lot. Guests and graduates are encouraged to bring wheelchairs or other mobility devices if needed. APU is unable to provide these devices.

Assistance to Ceremony from Parking

Due to the large amount of guests and graduates, guests should anticipate walking long distances. APU’s Department of Campus Safety is available to provide assistance to guests and graduates with transportation from parking lots on passenger golf carts.
