Meal Plans

Meal plans are available for every student at Azusa Pacific University (APU). All freshmen living in APU’s residence halls are required to have at least a 180 block meal plan. Meal plans are used through the students’ ID card and can be used at all dining locations.

You can sign up for a meal plan online (you will need to log in to home.apu.edu with your APUNetID and password) or you can stop by the Hospitality Services reception desk, located just inside the front door of the 1899 Dining Hall, to fill out a contract. Please note that the online sign-up option is not available for freshmen until mid-June.

Dining Dollars

Dining Dollars are included in the purchase of a student meal plan; they may not be purchased separately. They are used from a declining balance account through the student ID card at all Hospitality Services locations.

Guest Meals

Guest Meals can be used for family or friends who are visiting an APU student. Guests must be accompanied by an APU student with a valid meal plan to use a Guest Meal. These meals are swiped from the student’s ID card in the same manner as their regular meals.

Cougar Bucks

Students and/or parents can deposit money into an account called Cougar Bucks. The student ID card is used to access this as well as meal plans and dining dollars. Deposits for Cougar Bucks can be made with cash, check, or credit card at the One Card Office, located at the Hospitality Services reception desk just inside the front door of the 1899 Dining Hall, or via CASHNET. There is a minimum $20 deposit each time you deposit at the One Card Office and cash withdrawals are not permitted. Cougar Bucks are not transferable.

Cougar Bucks can be used at all Hospitality Services venues, the University Bookstore, the Computer Store, Evoke, A Print Studio, library printers, and selected vending machines around campus.

A statement of transactions can be obtained using a request form available at the Hospitality Services reception desk. All transactions debited through the ID card are final at the point and time of sale. It is the responsibility of the cardholder to keep a record of each card transaction.

Summer Meal Plans

For those students staying on campus during the summer, we offer a summer meal plan that can be used in any open dining venue. Payment for this option is cash or credit/debit card only. The following two options are available for summer meal plans:

Lost or Damaged ID Cards

If a student ID card is lost or stolen, it can be replaced for $20. Lost cards should be reported to the Hospitality Services reception desk. Damaged ID cards can also be replaced for $20.
