University Village Furniture November 14, 2008 During the transition into University Village, an option of choosing campus housing furniture was offered. As we look to the future, we plan to move back to the existing policy to ensure future student needs. While we will not require students this year to take on additional furniture, we will no longer be removing furniture from University Village rooms, which is consistent with our campus wide furniture policy (1.4). Exceptions will only be made in an oversubscribed situation, when there are three occupants in a one bedroom or five occupants in a two bedroom. In addition, we will be conducting an inspection and inventory of all existing housing furniture in the Village. All apartments will be entered sometime between November 17th and November 26th. We will not enter until after 11am and the process should only take about five minutes.
