Spring Housing Check-in December 18, 2008 If you are an incoming spring 2009 student, you can officially check-in and get your keys on Friday, January 9th. Students can check-in from 9am to 4:30pm at the office of Housing Services located in the Engstrom Hall Lounge. If you arrive late on Friday, go to your assigned living area and find the RA (Resident Advisor) on duty to let you into your room. They will let you in for the night, but you will need to go to Housing Services on Saturday, January 10th between 9am and 4pm to officially check-in and receive your key.
If you arrive late on Saturday or on Sunday, go to your assigned living area and find the RA on duty to let you in. You will need to officially check-in at Housing Services on Monday. It is recommended that you make every effort to arrive during posted hours as our offices will not be open on Sunday. Please notify us if you will be arriving later than January 17th, 2009.
The Office of Housing Services is open Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm to assist you. However, we will be closed from December 24th through January 5th celebrating the holiday season. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at (626) 812-3056 or email us at housing@apu.edu.
CHECK-IN PROCEDURE:
1. Go to Housing Services during posted hours.
2. Sign and receive a copy of your RCI (Room Condition Inventory) form.
3. Sign and turn in your housing contract (if not done already).
4. Sign a housing key card and pick up your key(s).
5. Begin moving in to your room/apartment!
6. Return the goldenrod copy of the RCI within 7 days of your check-in.
