Administrative Assistant

Description

This person will provide writing support to the Dean, in preparation of letters, reports, and proposals. Experience in this area is a requisite for this position.

Examples of Duties

  1. At the direction of the Dean, prepares written materials for reports, proposals, and other communications
  2. Assists with advisory boards, accreditation and development programs
  3. Works as a confidential assistant to the Dean and Associate Dean
  4. Provides administrative support and manages day-to-day business needs
  5. Contributes to the organizational and administrative functions of day-to-day operations of the school
  6. Coordinates and schedules internal and external meetings including conference travel arrangements as needed

Education

Baccalaureate, Graduate preferred

Experience

4 years

Skills

The experience and ability to write formal letters, business proposals, and business plans is essential. Strong general secretarial and organizational skills required. Skilled in the ability to utilize Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Details

Part-time, 12-month, nonexempt position. Level 24. Starting salary range: $13.66-15.38 per hour.
