Site Director for the Master of Arts in Theological Formation

This MATF site director will serve as point person for the Calvary Chapel South Bay site, connecting MATF students to APU student services and representing APU to them and the broader public. The main responsibility of the MATF director is to recruit and retain students in the MATF program, ensuring that every cohort produces at least fourteen graduates.

Examples of Duties

  1. To hire and supervise a part-time assistant.
  2. To serve as liaison between University services for smooth operation of MATF program
  3. To develop and implement proactive retention strategies for MATF students
  4. To orient students to APU services including registrar, financial aid, library, writing center
  5. To be on-site during class sessions
  6. To organize the logistics for the weekend intensives

Education

Master’s degree required; doctoral degree preferred

Experience

5 years in a related field (academia, church, sales, recruitment)

Skills

Self-starter, able to initiate contacts with professors, students and potential students, excellent relational skills, ability to communicate clearly via email, phone and in person, good networking skills

Details

Full-time, 12-month position. Excellent benefits. Salary will be determined based upon experience and qualifications.
