Promotions Manager
Center for eLearning and Teaching - CELT
Description
The Promotions Manager serves within the Center for eLearning and Teaching as a Christian representative of Azusa Pacific University focusing on the development and implementation of marketing strategies, program approval process, student recruitment and related projects.
Examples of Duties
- Oversee the creation and implementation of new and current marketing initiatives to increase enrollment of distance learning students and the brand of APU.
- Develop and oversee the development of multimedia and print advertising materials, in correlation with APU’s internal marketing department, for marketing use.
- Oversee the development and upkeep of the Center for eLearning and Teaching website in cooperation with APU’s marketing department. Coordinate necessary changes and updates of the website with the university marketing department.
- Partner with various internal and external departments and vendors to ensure effective teamwork in the planning, approval, development, operation and support of assigned projects.
- Provide direction and input to the Director of the Center for eLearning and Teaching for marketing and recruitment efforts (overall strategies, advertising, telemarketing).
- Collect and analyze statistical information related to recruitment initiatives. Create specifications for reports and present findings to be used to determine future marketing direction.
- Oversee student employee/intern projects.
- Projects as assigned by the Director of the Center for eLearning and Teaching
Education

• Bachelor’s degree

Experience
Required:
• The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years distance learning marketing experience.
• An understanding of marketing concepts in a higher education environment.

• 3 -5 years as a Promotions or Marketing Manager for a Distance Learning department in a university environment.
