Event or Class Taping
Video Production provides two levels for taping your event: basic and advanced. Reservations for taping should be made in advance and are subject to availability. If needed, we will hire professional camera or mixing board operators at a fixed rate. We also provide training free of charge for faculty and staff in the operation of taping equipment.
Basic Level
Choose this level if the finished video will not require any post-production work and will not be used for distribution or broadcast.
Option 1—No charge
VHS/Mini-DV camera WITHOUT camera operator
Option 2—$150
VHS/Mini-DV camera WITH camera operator
Advanced Level
Choose this level if the finished video may need editing or post-production work for distribution or broadcast. Prices are based on the scope of work. Editing costs are not included in taping.
Digital video recording costs are $150 for the first two hours of taping, plus $20 per hour (or fraction thereof) for transfer to VHS, DVD, or mini-DV.
