Denzil Barnett is an adjunct instructor in the American Language & Culture Institute (ALCI) and adjunct lecturer in the Department of Global Studies, Sociology & TESOL at Azusa Pacific University. Barnett has taught academic English in Japan, China, and Haiti, and is passionate about equipping international students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to thrive in an increasingly globalized world. His areas of interest include developing intercultural communicative competence and sensitivity in himself and others, professional and organizational development, enhancing students’ academic writing skills, and
faith and diversity in higher education.
