We understand that studying in a different country is an exciting but often complicated adventure. That is why we do our best to help you in any way possible. When You Arrive
The International Center at APU makes every effort to welcome you and help you enter life in the U.S. Prior to your arrival, you may contact the International Center and arrange to be picked up at the airport and brought to APU.
The International Center and ALCI will help you find housing and other services needed to begin life at the university. Be sure to email your admission counselor to firstname.lastname@example.org with questions while you are still in your home country to ensure a smooth arrival and transition.
At APU, our goal is to provide you with the resources you need to succeed today and in the future! Students in ALCI are given academic advisors at each level who assist them through their time of study and help prepare them for entrance into university programs.
While at ALCI, you can participate in many campus activities including intramural sports, theater, concerts, and club activities. Additionally, every ALCI student is enrolled in the American and International Mentoring (AIM) Program and has full access to university resources.
Any student needing extra assistance with testing, transportation, housing, or related services is asked to contact us to make necessary arrangements. We want to make sure you are taken care of in order to make your time here at APU productive and pleasant!
