Special Programs Coordinator for ALCI / Faculty
I am the special programs coordinator and a faculty member in APU's American Language and Culture Institute (ALCI). In this position, I teach courses such as Academic Composition and Reading Skills, Research Skills, Capstone Project, and Presentation Skills. I also serve as the academic advisor for ALCI Level 4 and for the American International Mentoring Program (AIM), oversee the International Writing Center at APU, and direct the Summer University Preparation Program (SUPP).
Before coming to APU, I served with my husband as a missionary in Prague, Czech Republic for four years where I taught full time in a college-preparatory high school and at the International Baptist Theological Seminary (IBTS). We have three children, two whom we adopted and one by birth.
