The line at the border was almost not a line. Street vendors wore masks. Mexicans were not shaking hands and greeting one another as they usually would, and yet in the midst of all the worry the Lord had a plan for this team.
They said the team couldn't perform at the government monument, because of the current situation in Mexico, but as they were sharing the gospel with a teen and waiting to decide what to do next, another venue opened. Some clowns were performing down the street in a grassy park area, and allowed the team to perform with them.
It ended up that the white face painted team drew a larger crowd than they would have at the original site. Jesus Christ is amazingly awesome.
The team is from Innovo Physical Theater and their students are from all over the world. Azusa Pacific University's Mexico Outreach program hosted the team for the weekend.
