Event Details

Easter 1

Arrival Day: Saturday
First Day of Ministry: Sunday
Number of Days of Ministry: Five (During Holy Week in Mexico)
Departure Day: Friday (Good Friday)
City Locations: Mexicali or Ensenada

In Matthew 5:14-16, it says, “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.”

Mexico Outreach is all about sending out workers to shine their lights. These cross-cultural experiences are for declaring the glory of Jesus Christ.

We provide a simple framework that allows participants of all ages to experience cross-cultural ministry first hand. They get to shine their lights.

What Ministry Leaders Are Saying

“It is a great experience. It helped my teens grow spiritually. My teens bonded and shared more then they ever have.”
     -Pittsburg Church of the Nazarene

“One of the most effective ministries we do with our students.”
     -New Community Church of Vista

“I wouldn't miss the outreach for anything. As a youth director, it is the keystone for the rest of our youth program.”
     -Bethel Lutheran Church of Shoreline

“It is a very well organized program that provides safety, connecting with ministry sites, youth fellowship, and youth experience that is fun and rewarding. Especially if it is your first time in a foreign country, I would highly recommend going with such a well thought out, praying, and planned team of Christians only seeking to glorify God and reach the lost. Expect an awesome experience.”
     -Club 1

“APU does a great job taking care of the camp and the relations part of it so we can just go and do the work.”
      -Grace Church of La Verne

“It's awesome. Our kids come home so pumped that they are the best promotion you could ever hire for future trips. I let the kids know that it's tough and our whole purpose is to serve and serve hard...but they love it and they really do serve with everything. We drive from Canada and therefore make it a two week trip...this makes our experiences and preparation for the trip fairly intense. My goal has been to do the trip every two years. Our first trip was 2001 and we've been blessed every time we've come! The youth love it so much they beg me to go every year. We go to serve, but God blesses us more than we could ever give!”
