Event Details
Arrival Day: Saturday
First Day of Ministry: Easter Sunday
Number of Days of Ministry: Five
Departure Day: Friday
In Matthew 9:36-38, it says, “Seeing the people, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dispirited like sheep without a shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.’ Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”
Mexico Outreach is all about sending out workers into the Lord’s harvest fields. We work with the local church in reaching a community that needs Jesus Christ.
We provide a simple framework that allows young people a first-hand experience in cross-cultural ministry. Place your group with a church of modest means whose members love the Lord and serve with what they have been given. The Mexican pastors are so thankful for your support in reaching out to their communities.
What Ministry Leaders Are Saying
“We go to serve. The people of Mexico have become family to us through our relationship and spending time in the same village for the last 11 years. It changes your life!”
-Chapel In The Pines
“It was a great time of serving God and His People.”
-Trinity Christian Reformed Church, Visalia, CA
“This experience is invaluable for students and adults alike. When you leave for the trip, you think that you are on your way to minister to others. When you get there, however, you quickly realize that the Mexican community is ministering to your youth and adults as well. When you get home and see the changes in your travelers, you are not sure who did more ministry.”
-316 Octane
“Overall, the Mexico Outreach experience is a great one. It is nice to be able to come to Mexico to serve and not need to worry about food, chapel, security, etc. Our students’ lives are changed each year while making a difference in the communities that we are ministering in. If you’re looking for a camp-like experience, this is the way to go! I really do appreciate all that the Mexico Outreach office does. I am a strong supporter of this ministry and many others through APU.”
-Rose Drive Friends Church
“It’s really all about the church. Not a one-time shot to do good, but a long relationship with a family in Mexico. It’s about meeting a need over and over and having your needs met as well. It’s about carrying Christ across borders and erasing the stigma of the comfortable Christian.”
-Prescott EV Free Church
“It’s a great experience where teens can serve others cross-culturally. They experience partnership with a Mexican church, and their faith is formed through worship and speakers back at camp. It stretches our kids greatly. I’ve really seen our teens mature because of their involvement with Mexico Outreach.”
-Poughkeepsie United Methodist Church
