Community Service Project
This trip follows the Easter I trip on the calendar, but certainly not in intensity. And even though we only have two base camps (Cuernavaca and Ensenada) during the week, service and partnership still define what happens this week. This week gives groups the chance to schedule their trip around their spring break.
About 2,000 students will attend a Mexico Outreach camp during the week after Easter this year and serve alongside their peers. Both Cuernavaca (our primary location in the Mexicali valley) and Ensenada will see students worship together in our community chapel and spend team time together after chapel services.
Ministry options are not limited during this week and many ministry sites (children’s ministry, construction groups, orphanage ministries, and more) welcome groups back for yet another week of service. Because high school spring breaks generally line up around Easter, groups have the freedom to return to their same ministry sites year after year.
