Base Camp Location
As some of you know, Rancho El Refugio is a great place to camp. There is plenty of room to tent, RV, or whatever you need to stay comfortable in a rustic setting. Make sure to prepare your group for the port-a-potty experience! But because there is no running water, we ask that you bring water for your group to drink and maybe some extra for cleaning faces and freshening-up during the trip. You can buy water in town at any number of places; they are all reputable. Also, there are several places in town where you can take showers. Most of them cost a couple bucks per shower, but all of them are clean.
