Mexicali Kids' Camp
October 3-5, 2008
After years of prayer we are excited to announce our first Mexicali Kids’ Camp. We are very thankful for our ministry partners in Mexicali who have taken leadership to make this prayer a reality.
Hundreds of children from the Mexicali Valley will camp for 3 days in Ejido Mazon Guerrero (just south of Mexicali). The kids will participate in many activities similar to our Ensenada Kids’ Camp. Highlights will include swimming, crafts, sports, stage productions, incredible games, and most importantly, they will hear about Christ’s love for them.
As always, camps like these would never be possible without prayers, contributions, and volunteers. We need groups that can lead some of the activities such as sports, arts and crafts, and other camp staff activities. Your loving interaction with the kids of Mexicali not only impacts their lives, but yours as well. If you cannot staff the camp you may consider a making a donation to scholarship a deserving Mexicali child. We greatly appreciate your prayers for the kids who come and for the staff who serve.
