During the first week of August, the Rancho El Refugio in Ensenada hosts our Summer II trip. This trip is used by some church groups as a way to say goodbye to summer and to kickoff their new school years. This trip is usually warm and sunny and it seems like the more the sun beats down, the more high-spirited the students become.

Each morning after breakfast, chapel is held. Then teams go into Ensenada to serve the community through their choice of ministry options and whether it’s a ministry to an orphanage or a construction site somewhere, team grow and learn through service. After they come back to the Ranch and get dinner, teams go to evening chapel where they are challenged to apply what they learned in the day.
