Rue Hough
Rue Hough is the coordinator of physical operations, organizing food purchases, transportation, and supplies for those going to serve in Mexicali and Ensenada. After living the first 27 years of his life in a small town in Iowa, Rue decided to come to Azusa Pacific University in 2001 to pursue a master’s degree in College Student Development and avoid the unfriendly frozen tundra of the Midwest winters. He found that after being a college basketball coach and working in several different group homes, the Lord was leading him to a career that would include service, a passion for God’s heart, and developing meaningful relationships with people. Rue has been a missionary serving with Empowering Lives International and a chaplain for the Salvation Army.
Rue loves that he gets to share his passion for Jesus Christ and missions with wife Sandy, son Josh, and daughter Abby. He looks forward to what the Lord will continue to reveal through his ministry with Mexico Outreach.
