GLOBAL VISION WEEK 2008

We cordially invite you to participate in our annual Global Vision Week, November 3-7, 2008. Global Vision Week seeks to expose the APU community to God's global perspective in hopes of fulfilling the Great Commission throughout the world. It is our hope that during the three days of Global Vision Week, we will be able to provide you with numerous opportunities to interact with APU students. We are planning several activities to increase student participation, awareness, and involvement in what is going on in world evangelism and current world issues.

One of the highlights of the week’s activities is our Missionaries Across Campus (MAC)*. We will be calling upon you and other qualified visionaries to encourage the integration of faith and learning in the classroom and beyond. MAC provides an opportunity for you to share with students how your own practical skills and knowledge obtained in the classroom are both applicable to the mission field. The classroom environment generates wonderful learning moments for both you and our students. We hope that you will consider volunteering for this amazing opportunity.

If you are interested in participating in Global Vision Week, please register. If you would like to be an exhibitor, there is a $100 non-refundable registration fee for all missions agencies/organizations. Checks should be made payable to Azusa Pacific University. Each booth reservation covers one representative, nine meals, daily snacks, wireless access, and more. Each additional representative is $50. Reservation and payment deadline is Friday, October 24, 2008 and availability is on a first-come-first served basis. We have 50 booths available. A confirmation email will be sent upon receiving both the registration form and payment.

There will be a welcome breakfast on Wednesday, November 5, at 8 a.m. After the breakfast, you may set up displays on Cougar Walk to facilitate counseling, recruiting, and discourse with our students. These displays must be set up each day from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on all three days.

If you would like to participate in Missionaries Across Campus*, please fill out the form giving us your personal information, experience, and if you are interested in participating in a class or activity sharing time. This form allows us to match you with requests from faculty and staff based on your training, experience, and the focus of your proposed presentation.

* Please note that we will try to respond with a confirmation email regarding class or activity sharing time approximately one week prior to Global Vision Week. We cannot guarantee placement in the MAC program, but we will make every effort to place as many people as possible.
