Laurén Brems is currently a psychology major at APU and anticipates pursuing a master’s degree in education. She is looking forward to graduating in spring 2008. She has had a heart for missions since early high school; she went to Mexicali, Mexico with Mexico Outreach in 2001, 2002, and 2003. In the summer of 2006, she went to Guatemala with Focus International through the Office of World Missions. Since her first trip to Mexico, Laurén knew missions would always be an important part of her life. She is now a student coordinator in the Office of World Missions and is eager to understand the effort and logistics that go into short-term mission trips.
Laurén is ready to serve the students at APU as well as answer God’s call in the Office of World Missions. This coming summer, she is hoping to use what she learns through OWM and leadership abroad in Teach for America.
