Rebecca Pratt is a senior youth ministry major and global studies minor who loves to write, laugh, dance, help, create, travel, take photographs, and paint. She has a heart for justice and a passion for life.
In high school, Becca participated in four trips to Tecate, Mexico, ministering to at-risk youth, and two trips to Mexico City conducting vacation Bible school. In the summer of 2005, she participated in an APU Focus International trip to Athens, Greece and Rome, Italy ministering to refugees and marginalized women. In summer of 2006, she returned to Athens to intern with an organization called Neo Zoi that ministers to marginalized women. She just returned from her Global Learning Term where she resided with a host family in Kolkata, India for three months and interned with a fair trade certified organization known as Freeset that provides alternative employment for women who work in the red light districts of Kolkata.
Her prayer in the present is to trust and be faithful to the calling God has for her and to spread awareness about the injustices of this world. Change is possible.
