Key Performance Indicators

The Key Performance Indicators (KPI) were developed during the 1999-2000 strategic planning process. The KPI is one strategy that Azusa Pacific University uses to measure the progress that the overall university is making in its quest for excellence which honors God.

Freshman Retention Percentage of freshman students who return for the fall of the following year
Student-Faculty Ratio Number of FTE students divided by FTE faculty
Graduation Rate Percentage of students who graduate within six years; rate for undergraduate students
Average SAT Average SAT scores of incoming freshman
Undergraduate and Graduate Full-time Equivalent (FTE) Enrollment Undergraduate: Number of full-time students and number of credits of part-time students divided by 12
Graduate: Number of full-time students and number of credits of part-time student divided by 9
Ethnic Profile of Student Body and Ethnic Profile of Faculty/Staff Percentage of Ethnic Minority
Importance of Instruction Percentage of budget supporting instruction
Educational Attainment of Faculty Number of full-time faculty with terminal degrees/number of faculty
Adjunct Teaching Percentage of classes taught by adjuncts
Faculty Salary Rank Ranked faculty salaries among CCCU institutions
Gender Profile of Faculty/Staff/Student Body
Ratio of males/females
Degrees Granted Degrees Granted to Students
Placement Rate Percentage of graduates who are employed or in graduate school six months following graduation
