Dear Faculty,

We hope and pray your spring semester is going well. It's exciting to see so many of you at our recent events.  We still have more events planned for this semester, so we hope many more will be able to join us.  Here are a few important items we'd like to bring to your attention:

Dr. Ann Kwinn, Associate Professor and Instructional Designer: After an extensive national search, ITT has appointed Dr. Ann Kwinn for the new Instructional Designer position.  Dr. Kwinn's span of care will include faculty training/support, course development, and the oversight of the Blended Learning Project (BLP).  She is a recognized expert in these areas and brings to the position extensive knowledge and a wealth of experience from both higher ed and the private corporate sector.  We are fortunate to have someone of her caliber joining ITT and supporting APU faculty.  She comes to us from APU's School of Adult and Profession Studies (APS).

Summer Course Redesign Institute: ITT is hosting its first summer Course Redesign Institute (CRI), dedicated to using technology to redesign courses to produce better learning outcomes for students.  CRI is a three half-day intensive training for faculty who are interested in redesigning their traditional face-to-face courses for blended delivery or improving their existing online courses.  Applications are due April 4, 2014Click here for more information.
