Science Center Construction Webcam

Conceptual Rendering

APU's new science center is currently under construction in the former drive-in parking lot on Foothill Blvd. This state-of-the-art facility will replace the Wynn Science Center on East Campus, which served the natural science departments (Biology and Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics) well for the past three decades, before their programs, faculty, and students expanded beyond the existing facilities' capacity to house them.

The new three-story, 70,000-square foot facility will include 16 classrooms, 14 labs, 1 lecture hall, 7 smaller research labs, 36 offices, a conference room, 2 student study breakout rooms, and an office for the Center for Research in Science. Additional features include a pond, a greenhouse, and a large vivarium, an enclosure that will allow faculty and students to keep and study the behavior of small animals.
