Introduction to Azusa Pacific University

Azusa Pacific University began in 1899 as the Training School for Christian Workers at the Huntington Park Friends Church. Today, it is an accredited, comprehensive Christian university with a total enrollment of more than 8,200 students, more than 44 undergraduate majors, 21 graduate degree programs, and 5 doctoral degrees.

Introduction to C.P. Haggard Graduate School of Theology

C.P. Haggard Graduate School of Theology at Azusa Pacific University is an expansion of an institution that began in 1899 with the formation of the Training School for Christian Workers. Devoted Christian educators from the Evangelical Friends (Quaker) and Methodist churches provided education for ministry at the training school through the early part of the 20th century. Today, C.P. Haggard Graduate School of Theology exists as a interdenominational school to carry on and expand this fundamental purpose of training men and women for effective ministry in the church.
