Living and Learning Community

Overview

The MAS Living and Learning Community is a collaborative living area facilitated by the Office of Residence Life and MAS. The primary commitment of students who choose to live here is to engage faith and action in a learning environment that leads to a better understanding of community.

Program Highlights

Students living in this community participate in the following activities:

  • Serve in a local community context for a minimum of two hours per week.
  • Share meals as a community once a week.
  • Attend discussion forums once a month. The discussion forums cover a variety of topics such as reconciliation, human rights, and sustainable community living.

There are also opportunities for students to be involved in a leadership team that plans educational programs once a semester.
