Ministry Report Form (PDF)*
All full-time undergraduate students have a service
requirement for graduation. The Ministry Report Form allows you to get credit
for your various service experiences. You may print the form, fill it out, and
turn it into the Office of Ministry and Service to get credited for the experience.
If you are unsure about a particular experience counting toward the requirement,
you may call the office at (626) 812-3028, email Associate Director Jenny Elsey
at jelsey@apu.edu or stop by the office located on
East Campus.
Relevant Organizations
Sojourners
Sojourners provides many resources for students interested in connecting
their faith to relevant and meaningful social action and political involvement.
Sojourners mission is to “articulate the biblical call to social justice,
inspiring hope and building a movement to transform individuals, communities,
the church, and the world.”
Just One
Just One is a non-profit organization based in Southern California that addresses issues of poverty, particularly surrounding children and families. They have started multiple initiatives including “Laundry Love Project,” “A Trashcan Can Make a Difference,” and “One Voice to End Slavery.” To learn more about these initiatives, please visit their website.
Restoring Eden
Restoring Eden is a grassroots community dedicated to encourage Christians to learn to love, serve, and protect God’s creation. They also provide support, assistance, and resources to college students interested in mobilizing their campus towards effective change in the world.
Christian Community Development Association (CCDA)
The CCDA works towards holistic Christian community development. Their mission is specifically to inspire and train Christians to bear witness to the Kingdom of God through reclaiming and restoring under-resourced communities. Students who are interested in learning how to thoughtfully engage the community around them can find a wealth of resources through this organization.
