Matheteis Forum is a monthly dinner and discussion forum designed to contribute to an atmosphere of unifying through discovery and interest in global concerns, local opportunities for response, controversial issues, and general intellectual enrichment connected to faith development and vocational exploration.

Greek word meaning disciple, Matheteis has set goals to create a forum that spurs on discipleship through education on relevant ministry-related social issues. While maintaining a learning spirit, Matheteis provides opportunities to question and challenge students' future vocation through education.

Matheteis Forum will meet a total of 6 times on Tuesday nights throughout the 2007-2008 year. The forum's format will include dinner and a panel of four discussants, each bringing their unique perspectives on a specific issue. The goal is to include a faculty or staff member, a student or alumnus, and two outside experts on the presenting topic. There will always be an opportunity for student and audience questions and response.
