A recent graduate of Stanford University, Annie Y. Tsai, Ph.D., joined the faculty at Azusa Pacific University after completing a year at National Taiwan University as visiting Fulbright Scholar. Her primary areas of research are social and cultural psychology. She is currently working on publishing a series of cross-cultural studies on understanding different models of social hierarchy. A book contract has been signed for the end of 2008.

Tsai started the Applied Social Research Lab at APU. She currently mentors a team of students engaged in independent research. She also serves as the advisor for Chinese Christian Fellowship and co-advisor for the Psychology Club.
