Profile
Bentz's area of expertise includes American literature and journalism with a specialty in Thomas Wolfe and student newspapers. His first Christian science fiction novel, Song of Fire, was published in 1995. His second novel, A Son Comes Home, was named one of the Top Ten Christian Novels of 1999 by Booklist magazine. Bentz published his fourth novel, At Close of Day, in 2003, and a devotional When God Takes Too Long: Learning to Thrive During Life’s Delays in 2005.
