Profile
Julie Pusztai is an instructor in the School of Nursing. After eight years working as clinical instructor and assistant to the founder of the Neighborhood Wellness Center (NWC), Pusztai is now the director of the center and continues as an instructor in the undergraduate community health nursing course. The NWC is open to the community where Pusztai and the nursing students provide health promotion, wellness education, and appropriate referrals. The NWC is currently implementing a diabetes prevention program in the Azusa community, providing residents with education regarding nutrition and physical activity.
