Robert Duke, Ph.D., interim dean of Azusa Pacific's School of Theology and Seminary, suggests using quotation marks around the word evangelical throughout this election cycle to help dispel the myriad misunderstandings of what constitutes true evangelicalism.
Duke contends that true evangelicalism involves the Christian faith lived out as demonstrated by having compassion and helping others.
