WHO:
Azusa Pacific University’s Center for Research in Science (CRIS) hosts Denis Lamoureux, Ph.D., professor of science and religion at St. Joseph’s College in the University of Alberta, Canada, whose academic specialty is the modern origins debate.

WHAT:
February 12 marks the 200th anniversary of Darwin, stirring the ongoing debate of Evolution vs. Creation. Guest lecturer Lamoureux discusses the variety of views on origins and his personal testimony in the origin debate, as well as intelligent design in nature. Lamoureux is available for interviews prior to his visit.

FACTS:
Lamoureux holds three doctoral degrees in dentistry, theology, and biology. He is a Fellow of the American Scientific Affiliation and a member of the Evangelical Theological Society. He has debated leading anti-evolutionists and is author of Evolutionary Creation: A Christian Approach to Evolution.
