Faculty Recital Series: Robert Sage, Piano
This special performance features APU School of Music faculty member Robert Sage on the piano. In addition to Sage's experience as a pianist, he has played the harpsichord for a large number of Handel's Messiah and Vivaldi's Gloria performances.

APU's Symphony Orchestra performs Esa-Pekka Salonen's Stockholm Diary
The APU Symphony Orchestra will give the first United States performance of world renowned composer and L.A. Philharmonic conductor Esa-Pekka Salonen's Stockholm Diary. The program also includes Haydn's Symphony No. 82 "Bear" and Symphony No. 1 by Sibelius. The orchestra will play under the direction of Christopher Russell, who was personally instructed by Salonen for this special performance. Russell worked with APU’s Symphony Orchestra at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles to prepare for this highly anticipated event.

Hungarian Music Concert
The first of a two-part series, the concert features music inspired by Hungary. Both concerts will celebrate the culture and community of the Hungarian people. Seating is limited, so arrive early.

Wind Ensemble Premier Fall Concert
Under the direction of Donavon Gray, DMA, this group of committed young students will perform a variety of musical literature with a concentration in classical music.
