WHO:

Azusa Pacific University’s School of Business and Management hosts Carl Mount, chief executive officer of Gloria Jean’s Coffee.

WHAT:

Mount will speak on his experiences in the beverage manufacturing and distribution business, and he will share the steps that brought him to where he is today.

The lecture series allows the Azusa and APU community to draw from leading business professionals will share their experience from the business field. They will discuss the different challenges and successes they experienced through their careers.

SPEAKER BIO:

Mount is the former Plant Manager for the Pepsi Bottling Group in the San Francisco Bay, an operation that produced more than 33 million cases of beverages annually. He then joined Diedrich Coffee, Inc., the nation’s second largest retailer in the specialty coffee market, and aided in creating a first-class infrastructure of the company.

Having more than 15 years domestic and international experience with both Pepsi and Coca-Cola, Mount was responsible for manufacturing, engineering, packaging and distribution at Pepsi's Hayward facility and its three satellite distribution locations.
