Azusa Pacific University's Center for Research in Science (CRIS) hosts Tim Morris Ph.D., professor of biology at Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, GA.

WHAT:

Lecture: "Science and Grace: God's Reign in the Natural Sciences"

In this lecture, Morris will discuss the biological aspects of God's world. He will talk about his interest in helping Christians better understand the relationship between contemporary science and Christianity.

BIO:

Morris earned his undergraduate degree from Covenant College, a Ph.D. from the University of Florida in cellular and molecular biology, conducted and post-doctoral research at the University of Georgia in molecular virology. Morris serves as chair of the biology department at Covenant College where he teaches a variety of courses in the Biology. Morris has participated in the Templeton/Oxford Seminars on Science and Christianity in 1999-2001 at Wycliffe Hall at Oxford. He is also the co-author of Science and Grace.
