Azusa Pacific University’s Jazz Ensemble and Citrus College’s Blue Note Swing Orchestra
WHAT:
The Battle of the Big Bands: Round 7 is an annual favorite and kindles a pleasant rivalry between Citrus College’s Blue Note Orchestra and APU’s Jazz Ensemble. Each year, more than 1,000 jazz enthusiasts turn out to hear the musicians perform on stage in order to triumph over their musical opponents. The concert highlights the best in jazz music, both new and old.
