WHO:
Author Gary Schmidt, two-time Newbery Honor recipient and professor of English at Calvin College.
WHAT:
The community is invited to come hear Schmidt talk about his books and the writing process at this event, hosted by the Glendora Public Library and sponsored by Blue Chair Children Books and Azusa Pacific University. A book signing will also take place. This event is free and open to the public.
Schmidt, a two-time Newbery Honor recipient, is the author of more than 30 books, including In God's Hands, Mara's Stories: Glimmers in the Darkness, and a popular series of seasonal biographies, Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter.
