WHO:

Azusa Pacific University’s Center for Research in Science (CRIS) hosts Dinesh D'Souza, author of What's So Great About Christianity and a former policy analyst in the Reagan White House.

WHAT:

Lecture: “Defending Christianity for Science: Answering the New Atheism”

D’Souza will examine at why Christians are often unprepared to answer questions when it comes to new atheism and how science, much like religion, is faith based in a time when many feel that science is against God. He will also discuss two remarkable modern science findings that don’t point to atheism, but point to God.

D'Souza has been called one of the “top young public-policy makers in the country” by Investor's Business Daily. The New York Times Magazine named him one of America’s most influential conservative thinkers. His book, What's So Great About Christianity, offers a response to atheist books denouncing theism in general and Christianity in particular. His most recent book, Life After Death: The Evidence, aims to demonstrate from a secular viewpoint that there is life after death.
